If we can have heaven on earth, then I’m sure I’ve seen part of it.
Last weekend I witnessed how community and amazing souls can create a vortex of love, creativity, kindness and pleasure. I was invited to go to the Catskills upstate NY where friends of friends own a piece of land.
The weekend they created was beyond any expectation I could ever have.
I was surrounded by beautiful and creative people and amazing music. As someone pointed out to me: You are part of New Yorks finest… and that is how it felt.
We set tents right next to a barn, some slept in the tents others in the barn, and some in tipis that were set-up in the woods.
During the day we lounged on the rocks at the foot of a waterfall. In the nights we were dancing in the woods around a fire, in between the pipes of one of the most magnificent art pieces I’ve seen.
Around us we had 8 illuminated lady-bugs driving around, all equipped with their own sound system, they shifted color and everybody could hop on for a ride.
In the morning we gathered around the fire and listened for hours to a musician that entertained everyone with his angelic voice and incredible musical talent. Someone jumped in with drums and it felt like the two had been playing together for years.
My gratitude to the organizers of this weekend and my amazing friend who invited me.
If we can create heaven on earth, this is a good example.
